• Q.   How do I join Tie Society?

  To create your profile and start receiving items from our Collection click here. 

• Q.   How does membership with Tie Society work?
  
  
  A.  

  Select the items you want, keep and wear them as long as you are a member, exchange them as often as you like. Membership to our service might be the easiest thing you do all week. Check out our “How it works” section for more information.

• Q.   How long can I keep my items?
  
  
  A.  

  A day, a week, a month… as long as you want. We don’t have due dates or late fees because we want to give you the best and most flexible experience possible. All you have to do is keep your membership active and you can exchange items in your Online Closet at any time. When you choose to end your membership, simply return all items in your possession within 7 business days. Any items kept beyond the 7-day grace period will be treated as purchases and your Payment Method will be billed accordingly.

• Q.   When I exchange, do I have to return all of the items I have?

  Nope, you can exchange one item at a time or all items at once - it is completely up to you.

• Q.   How do I return an item if I lost the label or the bag?
  
  
  A.

  Don't have your resealble Tie Society package?

  Not to worry, you may attach our returnable label to any reasonably sized small box or manilla envelope. Just make sure the package is properly sealed before mailing it.

  Alternatively, contact us and we will happily mail you addition packages.

• Q.   What happens if I spill on my tie?
  
  
  A.  

  Stains happen, we’ve all been there. If a minor stain occurs, don’t sweat it. Send it back to us and we’ll clean it for you, minor cleanings are complimentary. Used your tie to plug an oil leak? Send it back to us and pick a new item from your Online Closet. If the stain is really bad, you may be assessed a cleaning charge of 10% of the tie’s retail value. Alternatively, you may take the tie to your nearest professional dry-cleaner to have it cleaned, but please note, you are still solely responsible for the condition of the tie when it is returned to us.

• Q.   How are the ties cleaned?

  All of our ties are professionally cleaned and disinfected after every use. Items that do not pass our rigorous quality and cleanliness reviews are permanently removed from our collection.

  Ensuring that the items you receive are clean and sanitary is a top priority.

• Q.   Can I buy the items?
  
  
  A.  

  Absolutely! Love it so much you just have to have it? We understand. 

  Members can easily purchase the ties we have shipped them by clicking the 'Buy' button in their Closet.

• Q.   What happens if I severely damage my tie?
  
  
  A.  

  Tie get caught in the paper shredder again? That is a bummer, but don’t worry. Simply return the damaged tie and we’ll send you the next item in your queue to fill the void in the lineup.

  A replacement fee of 50% of the items MSRP will be charged to your account, so try and remember a tie clip next time.

• Q.   What happens if I lose my tie?
  
  
  A.  

  Crazy wedding receptions, lost luggage, black holes, anything can happen out there. Lost items are treated the same as purchases. The silver lining here is that you can report the item lost right from your Online Closet page and we will send your next item immediately.

  If you ever find the item, simply return it and your account will be reimbursed any fees. Easy.

• Q.   What’s your favorite knot?

  There are two tie knots every gentleman should have in his arsenal:

• Q.   How long does it take to receive my items?
  
  
  A.  

  We ship via United States Postal Service First-Class mail. Depending on your location, you should receive your items in 1-3 business days. If you have not received your items in that time frame please contacts Us. or report a problem from your Online Closet and we will get right on it. o Wedding or surprise meeting coming up? Need something from your closet overnighted to you? Contact us at RushOrder@tiesociety.com and we will do our best to get the item to you overnight (dependent on availability). You will be charged an overnight fee and the item must be returned within 7 days, or it will be processed as a purchase.

• Q.   What happens if I send you one of the ties I own by accident?
  
  
  A.   Don’t worry! We track each individual item and shipment electronically. If we receive one of your ties we can mail it back to you with your next shipment. Feel free to contact us at contact@tiesociety.com to give us a heads-up.
